Paulie Marrot Nike Skinny Dunk Womens
Nike Sportswear hooked up with legendary French textile designers Paule Marrot Editions. Once loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Various Paule Marrot’s textiles including the “Aurore” with Butterflies and Feathers and the “Les Cerises” prints are draped over two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries on the shoes for Summer 2009.

UNDFTD 2009 Spring/Summer
Staying true to their design aesthetic, Undefeated give us a look into their new Spring/Summer lookbook, heavily influenced by sports heritage of course. The collection showcases simple graphic imagery and embroidery over quality built pieces including zip-downs, t-shirts, and hoodies. Highlighting the collection are they pinstriped Old English New Era’s alongside a crew neck piece referencing the house that Ruth built, with an Undefeated twist. The lineup looks to release soon at the Undefeated web store.

Nike Sportswear Air Zoom Toki Lux
Nike Sportswear introduce the Zoom Toki Lux. Taking inspiration from both their Nike Zoom Sabaku and the Nike Blazer models, the Toki reflects another hybrid effort of sorts. The kicks retain distinct characteristics of the Lux series including a basic, wearable color palette built with premium materials. These stylishly sophisticated silhouettes will come in three colorways (Black, Medium Brown, Blur). The first two color tones will be available exclusively at ALIFE (NYC), Bodega (Boston), Darkside (San Francisco), DQM (NYC), Goods (Seattle), HUF (San Francisco), Shoe Gallery (Miami), UNDFTD (LA, Las Vegas, Santa Monica) and both Nike Sportswear stores in LA/NYC while the Blur will only be available through 21 Mercer. A release is scheduled for February 13th, 2009.

Nike Dunk Hi Safari
Nike Sportswear keeps the hits coming with another pair of Dunk Highs from their previously seen Safari Pack. The kicks feature a mostly tonal suede upper with Nike’s iconic safari print throughout the panels. Add in some gum bottoms, purple laces and Zoom Air and you’ve got a winner. Just like the other two sneakers in the set, these are now available at Nike Sportswear accounts with a retail price of $110 USD.

Kazuhiko Kawahara
I've been meaning to post this for a while, Kazuhiko is a Japanese photographer architect and photographer who creates mesmerizing images of landscapes and infrastructure. kawahara uses digital manipulation to morph and transform buildings into strange sights that explore the limits of form. the works suggest that kawahara uses the technique as a way to prototype buildings or even imagine new ones. he usually shoots buildings which are very bland and boring to people in an attempt to reveal the hidden structures and systems.
